Are you a cook?
Richard does most of the cooking but I am an enthusiastic helper and enjoy taking time to prepare meals for ourselves in the evenings.

Any cooking tips?
There is nothing wrong with substitution in cooking – it's how you make a favourite dish your own.

What's your favourite dish?
The perfect risotto with Prosecco, mushrooms, peas and pancetta.

And a drink to go with it?
A glass of Prosecco.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
WasabiSabi in London Road.

And pub?
Bungalow and Bears, Division Street.

What's the worst meal you've ever had?
A roast dinner in a Caribbean restaurant in Liverpool that gave me food poisoning. I was ill for a week.

And the best?
Fish 'n' chips and a bottle of champagne for mine and Richard's second anniversary at his student flat in Liverpool

Your favourite TV cook?
Jamie Oliver, for both his food and personal triumphs

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
There are some lovely places – the Blue Moon, Bragazzis, Zeugma and the Mogul Room are all good.

However, overall I find Sheffield restaurants and cafés inconsistent, unfortunately, and rarely phenomenal.
