PRIDE of place at the annual show of the South Yorkshire & District Rose Society at the Botanical Gardens on Sunday will be the Linda Smith Rose.
It will be the first public viewing of a new Hybrid Tea Rose raised by one of its members in memory of the late comedienne who went to Sheffield University and began her career in the city before moving on to London and wider fame.
