A BiG move for michele and liz

MICHELE MASON and Liz Gillott have joined Business & Education South Yorkshire as Enterprise Relationship Managers working on the BiG – Make it Your Business programme, a set of business support activities designed to encourage business start-ups and boost enterprise across Sheffield.
Employed by B&E-SY, Liz and Michele will deliver the BiG Entrepreneur Exchange which will match existing entrepreneurs and enterprising business people to mentor or inspire young people and individuals across the city.

Liz previously worked for s
ix years in the Enterprise centres for both Sheffield Hallam University and more recently the University of Sheffield. Michele joins Business & Education South Yorkshire after running her own training business and previously held sales and project management roles at Cadbury Holdings and Business in the Community.

John Barber, Business Development and Project Manager at B&E-SY says: "Their skills will be invaluable in a powerful brokerage and relationship management service that maximises the experience for both the entrepreneurs and those they will be supporting. The Entrepreneur Exchange, which already has over 100 volunteers, will have a significant impact in raising the enterprise culture and creating the next generation of entrepreneurs in Sheffield."

Speaking on the Entrepreneur Exchange Liz Gillott adds "This is a very exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs and business people of all types and at all stages of business development. We are looking for people who are willing to put something back by simply sharing their own journey, knowledge and experience with others."
