JOHN HAYWARD, chief executive of Sheffield-based Pressure Technologies, has been acknowledged as one of the UK's leading entrepreneurs.
He was named Ernst & Young Business Products Entrepreneur Of The Year at an awards ceremony in London hosted by Joanna Lumley.

More than 236 business leaders entered the 2008 programme, which climaxed at the UK finals when nearly 800 entrepreneurs and their guests saw 40 finalists battling it out in eight different categories.

Pressure Technologies designs, manufactures and retests speciality, high-pressure, seamless steel gas cylinders for the global energy and defence markets.
