ENTERTAINMENT and TV star Jon Culshaw is to compere this year's prestigious Sheffield Business Awards.
The impressionist and comedian will keep the evening flowing as more than 1,000 people from commercial and public sectors gather to recocognise the best in business in the Sheffield city region.

The awards, organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commer
ce, sponsored by BiG and the Environment Agency and backed by Star Business Monthly, will be staged at Sheffield International Venues' Ponds Forge International Centre on December 4.

Jon Culshaw is renowned for his work with Radio 1's Chris Moyles, Dead Ringers and Spitting Image and hit the headlines in 1998 while working for a radio station. Impersonating Tory leader William Hague, he succeeded in contacting 10 Downing Street where he was put through to Prime Minister Tony Blair and had a conversation with him.

For the first time the awards will recognise the city region's outstanding business person. Another new category, Young Business Person of the Year, has been introduced and some other categories have changed in line with the city's changing commercial scene.
