MORE than 40 South Yorkshire business men and women will give up their jobs for the day and volunteer in their community today (Friday) as part of the first National Cares Day.
Organised by Cares, an initiative of Business in the Community, the day will help hundreds and schools and community organisations in some of the most deprived areas of the UK.

The volunteers will tackle an environmental project Sheffield General Cemetery working on the Victorian Gatehouse and Catacombs creating a herb garden. Volunteers are from John Lewis, Cadbury plc, Ringway, School Trends, Irwin Mitchell and DLA Piper.
