THE Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has appointed Mike Needham as the new head of its Structured Debt Solutions operations in the North.
In his new role Mike will lead a six-strong team that specialise in providing bespoke funding solutions to support leveraged financed transactions such as acquisitions, management buyout and management buy in type deals. The team provides this support to SME businesses across the region that have a turnover of between £1m and £25m.

Mike has over 25 years banking experience and was previously Regional Director for RBS' Commercial Banking operations in Yorkshire and the North East. During his career with the RBS Group he has also held several other senior management positions. Mike is married and has two children.
