THE expanding Sheffield office of Proddow McKay Solicitors has re-located their local office from the city centre to Sheffield 34 on Shepcote Lane, the former headquarters of Tinsley Wire Group (now Bekhaert Group).
The building, comprising 26,000 sq.ft. of modern office space, was comprehensively refurbished by private investors to include excellent on site car parking provision.
Commenting on the letting, Alastair Campbell principal of niche Sheffield-based commercial letting agent Campbell & Co, said: "It is great to see a well known established firm of solicitors taking up what is very good air conditioned office space, as we have had one or two false dawns with the letting of this building.''
A final phase of the development is being progressed, which will see one other local based company re-locate to the site in the near future.
Underlining the developer's confidence in the Sheffield office market, they are progressing a similar high quality re-furbishment of another landmark office building in the region, formerly the headquarters of Alvac, Atlas House on Attercliffe Common in Sheffield. Building works are nearing completion which include full air conditioning and raised access computer flooring. A range of tenure options are available in this 38,500 sq.ft. building.
