Law firm part of £17m deals

SHEFFIELD law firm Wake Smith & Tofields has completed seven corporate transactions worth in excess of £17 million in three weeks.
The commercial team has handled several multi-million-pound deals including the sale of the entire issued share capital of Rotherham-based company Lowe Group (Holdings) Limited to Connaught plc for a cash consideration of £7.5 million.

Other deals include Sheffield-based Special Steel Co Ltd, which has acquired the forging business carried out by Langley Forged Products Ltd, and the launch of a new international joint venture between Sheffield-based Johnson & Allen Limited and Vibrant Corporation of the USA.
