Andrew Coombe of Keeble Hawson, winner of the Lifetime Achiever title at this year's South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards, has retired to focus on his role as Chairman of St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield.
Colleagues, friends, family and clients gathered for a recent farewell party to celebrate over 20 years of his service at the Yorkshire law firm.

Formerly Finance Partner and Head of the Business and Corporate Services division at Keeble Hawson, Andrew will now oversee the modernisation programme of the hospice which provides pioneering palliative care. He will also drive the relocation of St Luke's to a new site in Sheffield.

He said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed working as part of the Keeble Hawson team and my party was a real honour. During my career, the pace of life has increased immensely, especially with the ability to communicate 24/7."

Andrew, who is also non executive director of the University of Sheffield Student's Union, adds: "The legal profession is moving towards being more proactive as client demands increase and during my time at Keeble Hawson I directed investment in personal and technology skills.

"This will continue in my absence to ensure it remains a market leader in the sector."

Tony Gregory, Keeble Hawson managing partner, said: "Andrew's outstanding service is a testament to his career and dedication to the profession. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours."
