The Sheffield Telegraph's Kids' Zone is offering youngsters the chance to win tickets to the city's annual film festival Showcomotion.
A packed timetable of films and events have been organised to mark the 10th anniversary of Showcommotion starting on June 26 and we want you to join in the fun.

All you have to do is write a review of a film you love or tell us why you think your
favourite movie is better than all the rest. We'll publish every entry at thestar.co.uk/kids so you can show the world your journalistic talent.

Our favourite three stories will win a family pass to Showcommotion and the first prize winner will also get entry to the opening night gala.

The festival kick starts in style at the Showroom on Paternoster Row with the premier of Kung Fu Panda which features the voices of Jack Black, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie and Seth Rogen.

Other special previews during the festival include The Fox And The Child, Tales Of The Riverbank, Special People, Behind The Clouds, Leaps And Bounds and The Ten Lives Of Titanic The Cat.

There will also be family fun weekends with face painting, arts and crafts and model making and a rare chance to see Thomas and Friends, Bob The Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu and Shaun The Sheep on the big screen.

Kathy Loizou, director of Showcomotion Young People's Film Festival, said:

"We believe it's important to expand children's horizons and what films they see. As the independent cinema in Sheffield we feel we should make available to children films from all over the world.

"Children have quite narrow view of what films are out there. At Showcomotion we offer films from more than 20 countries. The festival gives young people and their parents a once in a year opportunity to see films from such a range of countries."

Email entries to our Kids Zone competition to staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk or Tine S. Johansen, Sheffield Telegraph, York Street, Sheffield, S1 1PU before Sunday June 22.
