A STRANGE November release perhaps, although fans of the globe-trotting Sheffield-based flautist and occasional guitarist, as here, will hardly see that as drawback.
All 18 tracks are self-composed and technology enables him to play both flute and guitar on many, except four which are guitar duets with brother Steve and three where Chris Glassfield is guitarist.

Unassuming, pleasant-on-the-ear music well recorded and ideal for listening on languid summer days, or dreaming of them as Arctic winds blow in.
