Are you a cook?
Definitely not, I usually burn everything.

Any cooking tips?
Get someone else to cook for you. It works for me every time.

What's your favourite dish?
I love a good Greek salad, preferably at a taverna somewhere in Greece, accompanied with a dish of tsatsiki, some olives and humous.

And a drink to go with it?
If I was in Greece, anything cold and alcoholic; otherwise a chilled glass of sauvignon blanc.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
I have a few favourites. Artisan at Crosspool never fails to please, Milanos in Millhouses is a real treat and Nonnas is always impressive for an authentic Italian meal. For a family brunch we love Spoilt for Choice on Eccy Road.

And pub?
The Union, the Lescar and the Porter Brook have all been regulars over the years. The Cricket at Totley is also an excellent place for good pub food with a huge field outside to kick a ball around. But the Dog & Partridge is the best – husband said I have to say that…

What's the worst meal you've ever had?
Probably one I cooked, cod and parsley sauce – a disaster. The sauce was so solid it was difficult to tell which was the cod and which was the sauce.

And the best?
Cod in black butter sauce at The Rocks in Sydney. Amazingly memorable; just how cod should be cooked.

Your favourite TV cook?
I'm a Jamie Oliver fan. I love his passion for changing the country's cooking habits, although I've yet to take him up on his ideas.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
I think we're really spoilt with our proximity to country pubs that serve great food, for example the Chequers at Froggatt. But there are too many franchise places opening up.
