BRITISH Food Fortnight starts tomorrow with a broad programme of events across the UK.
Local highlights include a special menu at Clumber Park, near Worksop, where the National Trust is cooking up a treat for visitors.

The park restaurant will be featuring an autumn menu using produce from the walled kitchen garden and local supplie
rs. Visitors will be able to enjoy delicacies such as breaded goats cheese and mulled pears with oven- roasted cherry tomatoes; rosemary, sage and apple-stuffed loin of pork; and apple syllabub.

In Sheffield, there is an open day at the Aga store in Ecclesall Road tomorrow, which aims to raise awareness about the benefits of buying and eating locally-produced food.
