PEAK District businesses are serving up a feast of special events during National Parks Week, starting on Monday.
The celebration of food and farming involves around 70 local businesses which hold the Peak Park's environmental quality mark for commitment to using local, seasonal produce, saving energy, recycling, supporting a healthy countryside and the rural economy.

Highlights of the event - themed Your Countryside on a Plate - include a nature trail at Blaze Farm, Wildboarclough; a guided walk from Longnor coffee shop; a luxury picnic in Lathkill Dale; activity days at Castleton Visitor Centre; a chocolate experience at Cocoadance, Mam Tor; well dressing at Ewe Close Farm, Bakewell; and farmers' markets in Castleton and Buxton.
