High prices close veggie restaurant

VEGETARIAN restaurant Kumquat Mae in Abbeydale Road closes Saturday this week.
A rise in the cost of food and services combined with a shortage of customers has prompted the decision by owner Nicky Harris, who took over from founder Eddie Poole in 2003.
"I can't affords it," she said. "We only had two customers on Saturday."
