FROM cooking to bed-making - those are the activities on offer to pupils attending an activity day organised by Hospitality Sheffield.
The idea is to show young people the kind of careers available in the hospitality industry and the event will involve 40 pupils from four city schools.

Organisers have teamed up with Castle College, the Holiday Inn Royal Victoria, the Hilton Hotel and the Park Inn to showcase a whole range of potential jobs - from housekeeping and kitchen work to leisure club and conferencing.

Holiday Inn manager Jon Broadhurst said: "We want to deliver an event that gives school leavers a realistic overview of the opportunities available. We hope to demonstrate the variety, opportunity and fulfillment that a career in the industry offers."
