A CORNER of the Sheffield Cathedral forecourt is set to be used as an outdoor seating area for the neighbouring Yorkies restaurant.
Council officers say using part of the paved area will add "life and vibrancy" without harming the character of the conservation area or damaging views of the grade I listed church.

Councillors will be advised to approve the application on Monday subject to opening hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
