THE Hammer & Pincers pub in Ringinglow Road will be relaunched on Sunday with a bank holiday family party.
The Bents Green pub has undergone a facelift to become a 'family-friendly local', with a designated dining area for families with children up to 9pm every evening.

"We have always been known as a community pub," says manager Conor Smith. "However, we realised that to become a genuine local we needed to extend our reach to families and we are therefore excited to welcome all guests along to our re-opening party."

From 1pm on Sunday, guests will be able to enjoy a barbecue - with the pub's new range of organic burgers - and a series of sporting competitions in the garden. There will also be a sponsored car wash to help raise funds for the Laura Crane Trust (a Weston Park Hospital charity).

Food is served daily from midday to 9pm, with a weekly grill night on Tuesdays and curry night on Thursdays, with selected main dishes and a drink for £5.99.
