THE Norfolk Arms at Ringinglow is set for revival as a wayside inn after being taken over by the Out of Town Leisure Group.
Although better known for fast food outlets and restaurants in major
centres such as Meadowhall, the group is aiming to return the Norfolk Arms to its roots as a country pub that welcomes locals and walkers alike.
The Grade II-listed pub was built as a coaching inn around 200 years ago. It was refurbished a couple of years ago but had become known as a hotel and wedding venue with beer, rather than the cosy pub with rooms that the new management wants to promote.
