THE Shiny Sheff has sailed back into town with a new look, new management and its original name.
The well-known Lodge Moor pub was originally christened with the nickname of the city's adopted naval destroyer. But it changed to The Sheffield three years ago and locals have been pressing for a return to its original name ever since.

Now new managers Neil and Sally Bowden – who formerly ran The Hallowes in Dronfield – have restored the local landmark.

They have also changed the interior and installed a high-tech entertainment system. Regular features will include live music, a monthly race night, Friday steak night and Sunday carvery.
