TV CHEF Nigel Smith is preparing to cook up a storm in Norfolk Park as part of a family fun day organised by Gleeson Homes.
The former Chef of the Year, a star of ITV's Cooking Clinic and UKTV Food, will be preparing a barbecue feast including lemon saffron chicken, salmon parcels with ginger and lemongrass and a selection of sausages as part of the event on Sunday, Septe
mber 7. If it rains the action will be transferred to the kitchen of the new Grange show home.

Other events, between noon and 4pm, will include children's entertainment, a giant clown, balloon modelling and face painting. The celebration marks the opening of a new show home at the development in St Aidens Road.
