THE Walnut Club has been named as one of the top 20 restaurants in the UK for a Christmas meal.
The restaurant appear alongside top names including the celebrated Manoir aux Quat' Saisons in Oxford in the BBC's specialist food publication, Olive.

"This is truly one of my proudest moments as a restauranteur - to be named alongside Raymond Blanc," said MD Richard Mills.

"We are particularly happy in this climate to see our festive bookings at an all-time high, with over 2,000 bookings already."

Christmas lunch at both Hathersage and Ecclesall Road is £19.95; party nights are £29.50; à la carte is also available, along with special menus for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
