RESTAURANTS and hotels are being offered a chance to learn the finer points of wine-matching at a workshop run by wine producers Renishaw Hall.
The course, on September 22-23, includes sessions with a wine expert and a leading buyer, as well as a tour of the vineyards, a talk by the hall's head gardener and a buffet lunch.
It aims to help hoteliers and restaurateurs develop a greater unde
rstanding of wine, how to put together a good list and how to match with different foods. Funded by the Collaborative Higher Education Alliance, it is free to businesses in the Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire area.
