Kick your shoes off, grab a cup of tea and curl up in the sofa. That's what bands visiting our Front Room will be doing.
In our new programme series bands are invited into music reporter Rachael Clegg's living room.

Go to the Front Room

Squeezed together between cds, books, old NMEs and instruments, known and unknown bands will tell Rachael about their music and inspirations, and play one of their own tracks exclusively for the Telegraph camera.

One new episode of Front Room will be published every Tuesday on the Telegraph website www.sheffieldtelegraph.co.uk/frontroom.

The first band to enter the Froot Room will be Dead Like Harry on Tuesday August 12.

In the meantime the official soundtrack, a big jam session with local bands, is available to view and download.

The sound track was recorded in The Harley with representatives from Alcarez Kings, Green Man Says Go, The Fevers, Glitter Junkies, Black Light Theatre, Oh My Word, Avida Dolls and Pistola Kicks.
