BANKRUPTCIES in Doncaster have rocketed as more and more people decide it's the only way out of financial trouble.
The number of Doncaster people seeking to declare themselves bankrupt shot up by 64 per cent between the start of April to the end of July - four times the average for the whole of Yorkshire.

In Sheffield and Rotherham the number of people petitioning for bankruptcy, as opposed to being forced into bankruptcy, rose by 15 per cent, just below the Yorkshire average. And in Barnsley the figure for personal bankruptcies fell by 10 per cent, while the figure for England and Wales was up four per cent.
