Marketing student gets top award

Marketing Assistant at Sheffield City Hall, Mark Roberts, has been crowned Top Student in Yorkshire by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Having achieved straight A's, Mark was nominated by his tutor Robert Chiswick, for his outstanding work.

Mark was presented with the award for his work towards his professional certificate at a ceremony held at the Electric Press in Leeds.

Th
e event celebrated the success of The Chartered Institute of Marketing studying members in the December 2007 and June 2008 examinations.

Fresh from an appearance on Channel 4's Secret Millionaire, Entrepreneur and Marketer Carl Hopkins presented the award to Mark who was delighted by the result:

"The Professional Certificate in Marketing was an incredibly challenging but rewarding qualification. It has really helped me to gain the confidence I needed to succeed and believe in myself. I am thrilled to have received such good results and winning the Top Student Award has been the icing on the cake," said Mark.
