Here are ten things you can do today.
1 Feed Your Head Pt 1, evening of Funk, Soul and Jazz and Dub with King Capicse, The Limes, DJ Soundcheck plus special guests, The Cremone, London Road, 8pm

2 Brevario, new work from Increpacion Danza, the Barcelona-based company that combines the
energy of contemporary dance with the flamenco tradition, is Inspired by the sound of 1930s Spanish Music Hall, capturing the mood of the years immediately before the Spanish Civil War, Lyceum Theatre, 7.30pm (£16-£19).

3 Cabaret Twilight, dance, live music, songs and interplay between characters with projections in film and image from In the Boat Theatre Company, the integrated company of artists with and without disabilities from Sheffield, Greentop Circus Centre, Upwell Street, near Meadowhall, 2pm and 7.30pm (£10/ £8, 2448828).

4 African and Dance Taster Workshop, Highfields Trinity Church, London Road, 7pm-9pm.

5 Wihan Quartet, internationally celebrated Prague-based string quartet, Bradfiled festival of music, 7.30pm (£14).

6 Sheffield Folk Chorale, A concert of glorious four part harmony, Sacred Heart Church, Hillsborough, 7.15pm (Tel 2863378 or 2343580).

7 Birkdale School Rock Music Festival & Band Night, O2 Academy, Arundel Gate

8 Rewind Disko, retro anthems and some recent gems, Room Two – Fresh Till Dear , wonky electro house five-hour set from residents Skullduggery, Main Room Music - 90s & 00s Disko, Plug, Matilda Street, doors 10.30pm (NUS £5 / MOTD 18+).

9 Last Laugh Comedy Club, the line-up is Archie Kelly, Daliso Chaponda and headliner Justin Moorhouse, plus food, late bar and disco, Memorial Hall, 8pm, doors 7pm (£15).

10 Bouncers, Rotherham Rep with John Godber's modern classic, Rotherham Arts Centre, Walker Place, 7.15pm(£6).
