Big wheel would just be an eyesore

IN reply to your disturbing article regarding the big wheel in Fargate.
When will our council wake up to the fact that the city centre needs investment in new shops and stores, not some monstrous wheel that would liken it to Blackpool.
People would avoid Fargate like many of our clients do when the markets are here, as they find it very difficult to get by.

If our council insists on having a large wheel, why not place it where there is a nice view to look at, like on the moors s
urrounding Sheffield.

What I find amusing is that the council banned any business from using A boards (for the last two years) with the excuse that blind people may bump into them. How are our disabled public going to cope with something as large and obstructive as a wheel?
