Council hoping for alternative to Hooters

Further to recent concerns expressed about the proposed Hooters bar for Leopold Square, can I say that the city council shares those concerns.
Suffice to say, dialogue is ongoing between the council and Ask, the developer, to try and resolve this issue.

Whilst we accept that Ask have faced some difficulties in letting this space, we feel strongly that the proposed bar is not appropriate for this location, and we very much hope that an alternative use will be found.

I think this is all because it is too American. People are just using the term (its sexist) as an excuse.

I don’t get why. America is a ten times better country than Britain. And just because it is an American franchise doesn’t mean that it should be stopped from coming to Sheffield.

America is a more developed country and has toward above Britain, and I guess it’s a fact that us British haven’t come acclimatized to. I guess it’s just our way of thinking we are making a point by saying no to this franchise.

An example of this is that we British can’t face people immigrating into this country, which has been the very thing that has developed America into something great, which is a fact us British envy

So I guess the racist British society take great pleasure to take their grudge at America via this franchise.

VOTE YES TO HOOTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
