I AM writing to agree with AM in last week's Telegraph (Get City Airport up and running again).
Selling off of the City Airport by the old City Council for £1 makes many Sheffielders feel cheated
We face a 7-8 hour rail journey to see family in Cornwall and would jump at the possibility of flying from Sheffield to Newquay. A flight from Leeds/Bradford does not quite have the same attraction or convenience.
"Let us see what our new council is made of and get the airport back up and running" writes AM. I concur.
