I AM writing to express my sheer outrage - and disgust - which has been caused because of the demolition of the two Tinsley Towers (24th August).
That is a piece of heritage gone!

Surely, people realised many years ago that they were in need of repair? Due to people's sheer laziness and cost cutting those days of "are we nearly home?" have gone! It's sheer vandalism.

As a child, a journey home from holidays was marked by the two towers. Aren't we supposed to be proud and true to our roots?
There'll be nothing left at this rate!
