I have to say I find the council's 'It's Driving me Crazy' campaign a bit of a joke.
Looking at the 20 proposed schemes, only one of them is intended to assist Public Transport users (no. 12 - Duke St) and most will adversely affect users of sustainable modes of transport.

My understanding is the Council employs a team of dedicat
ed professionals to look at transport systems and ensure that our roads are as usable and safe as they can be, and it seems to me that these are the people who best qualified to decide what improvements are needed to our roads.

Pandering to a minority of 'angry motorists' is just populist posturing and is not going to help solve Sheffield's traffic problems.
