Amateur sketchers give new meaning to body art
Life drawing at a Sheffield Independent School of Art class at The Old Junior School, South View Road, Sharrow.
LIFE drawing classes are proving popular in Sheffield as budding artists go back to basics.
The new sessions at Sheffield Independent School of Art have been full every time as people learn how to sketch the human form.
Luisa Golob, manager of Creative Action Network which manages the school, said: “We’ve been full each week which is fantastic.
“The life drawing is an opportunity for anybody to turn up, with no experience, and learn the basics of drawing.
“If you can master the technique of drawing people you can really develop as an artist.”
The classes take place from 7pm to 9pm every second Tuesday at The Old Junior School on South View Road, Sharrow, where Creative Action Network has taken over a room. It costs £6 per time or £4 for concessions and people can pay as they turn up.
