A NEW sensory interactive play centre is to open at Creswell Crags visitor centre.
The facility, funded by Derbyshire County Council, will feature Ice Age animal sculptures.
Consultant Celina Adams said: “The interactive sensory space is designed to fire a child’s imagination, to invoke what it was like to be living in the Ice Age.
“Most of the site is given to sculptural structures replicating the animals that would have been around at the time. These sculptures are very playful and of various sizes offering play opportunities for a wide range of ages and abilities.”
Final installation of the animal structures will take place on Monday.
