Firefighters' calendar pose
A SOUTH Yorkshire firefighter is to raise cash for four charities by photographing his colleagues for a calendar.
Lee Jones, based at Central fire station in Sheffield city centre, plans to donate the proceeds to Sheffield Children's Hospital, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the national Fire Fighters Charity, and the Marfan Association - chosen because his cousin suffers Marfan Syndrome, which can affect the eyes, skeleton, lungs, heart and blood vessels.
Lee said: "This is an ambitious project but I've already had a great deal of support from friends and colleagues, and it is all in aid of four fantastic causes.
"There has been no shortage of firefighters willing to pose for the camera!"
He hopes to launch the calendar at a fundraising event in October, where a charity auction will be held.
