Ethio-Cubano made lamb - VIDEO

Serve your family something a bit exotic tonight under instructions from Ethiopian restuarant owner Dawit Asmelash.

Most Ethiopian dishes take hours to make but Dawit, owner of the Ethiopian Restaurant on Aroundel Gate Ethio-Cubano, has a recipe that anyone should have time for.

In this video he will talk you through how to make the Ethiopian lamb dish Ye Fem Tibs.

The video is part of the Sheffield Telegraph Shef's Kitchen series where chefs from some of the city's best restaurants teach you how to cook quality food in your own kitchen.

Recipe: Ye Fem Tibs

Ingredients

Diced lamb

Ginger

Garlic

Onions

Green chilli

Tomatoes

Salt

Oil

Method:

Leave the diced lamb to marinate in the fridge for a couple of hours in some ginger and garlic.

Heath the oil in a frying pan

Brown some chopped onions in the oil

Add the marinated lamb

Add a pinch of salt, some chopped fresh tomato and a chopped green chilli

Leave to simmer for about five minutes
