Indian Enterprise

ENTERPRISE director Mandip Dosanjh is launching an innovative business of his own in the form of Dosanj: 'a new concept in Indian cuisine.'

Mandip and brother Manjit, a business advisor, open the restaurant at West One on July 19. They hope it will be the first of a chain. "We both work for the Sheffield Enterprise Agency. You could say that we've taken steps to practise what we preach," says Mandip, whose family run convenience stores across the region.

"We believe we have created a brand and will be looking to open another one in Yorkshire by the end of 2010 using this model."

Cuisine at the new restaurant will combine eastern traditions with modern western influence and a focus on presentation. Expect to pay around 14 for a main course and 4 for a starter or dessert.
