Sarah Green is operations manager at Sheffield-based epilepsy charity Fable, which is celebrating National Epilepsy Week from Monday in new premises on Infirmary Road.

She lives in Gleadless with husband Paul, three-year-old daughter Lily-Mae and black lab Harley.

Are you a cook?
I’m okay at cooking but my husband’s better than me.

Any cooking tips?
One thing I’m good at is Yorkshire puddings, and I always remember my mum teaching me to get the consistency right, leave it to stand for an hour and make sure your oven is really hot.

What’s your favourite dish?
One of my husband’s specialities, dolcelatte steak with new potatoes and asparagus.

And a drink to go with it?
A glass of Pinot Grigio.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
Shapla curry house at the bottom of The Moor.  The staff are lovely, the food is always superb and each lady still leaves with a carnation at the end of the meal.

And pub?
My local, the New Inn on Hollinsend Road.  I used to work there many years ago as a barmaid.

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
A Chinese take away.  It went straight in the bin.

And the best?
A restaurant in Portugal: we had chateaubriand.

Your favourite TV cook?
Jamie Oliver. I love his recipes and have all his books.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

We’re very fortunate, with a wide variety of different cuisines to choose from.
