Are you a cook?
An amateur at best, a few signature dishes that I do at home, but nothing special!

Any cooking tips?
If in doubt, go out to eat!

What’s your favourite dish?
I love a good hot curry, either prawns or potato, with lots of garlic naan.

And a drink to go with it?
A large white wine, the Vinho Verde we do at Fitzwilliam & West is smashing.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
The Milestone, as it’s stumbling distance from home. Then of course Fitzwilliam & West for their Sunday lunches, the meal I most look forward to all week!

And pub?
The Tap at Sheffield Station, a beautiful building with a brilliant range of beers.

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
A curry in my home town of Plymouth, it was so spicy it didn’t taste of anything. . As a curry lover this was a complete no-no for me.

And the best?
A falafel burger with sweet potato chips at Thyme Cafe. It really hit the spot!

Your favourite TV cook?
James Martin, the happy chappy Yorkshireman isn’t afraid to use a good knob of butter!

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
I love it! There’s so much variety, and quality places to eat, all with individual style.
