Are you a cook? I’m certainly no professional cook; I do it because I have to, not because it’s my passion.
Any cooking tips? With any meal, my advice is keep it simple, take it slow and try different things – it saves getting into a rut.
What’s your favourite dish? Anything I can do quickly! Pasta of some kind probably, though I did cook a delicious lamb biryani the other day.
And a drink to go with it? Wine – red to be precise.
Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area? Rossi’s on London Road. The food’s fantastic, atmosphere’s lovely and I think the staff are Italian too.
And pub? My favourite place to eat in the world is the White Lion in picturesque Great Longstone. It serves up some of the most scrumptious meals I’ve ever sampled.
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had? I went for a meal with some friends and the steak was so bad I had to perform abdominal thrust on one because she couldn’t get it down.
And the best? Basically, any meal at the White Lion. They change their menu regularly, which prevents me from picking a sole favourite.
Your favourite TV cook? Jamie Oliver
What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out? A great place to eat out, lots of different food to choose from what ever your taste and budget.
