Are you a cook?
I love to cook and find new recipes, but I have to say I struggle with baking – or should I say you wouldn’t want to try the results!
Any cooking tips?
Diet coke makes a lovely sauce with a bit of passata, as does Fanta Zero – which gives a nice sweet and sour taste. Unusual, but worth a try.
What’s your favourite dish?
Any curry, the hotter the better – especially chicken vindaloo… mmm.
And a drink to go with it?
A large glass of red wine.
Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?
This has to Akbar’s – I think I could actually live off Indian food.
I love Graze Inn
What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?
Scallops – yuck, too rubbery!
And the best?
At Hoar Cross Hall Spa in Derbyshire: a creamy chicken pasta dish was the best I’ve ever tasted.
Your favourite TV cook?
Jamie Oliver because he makes cooking look easy and fun.
What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?
Since moving from Leeds to work in Sheffield, I’ve enjoyed discovering the huge variety of places on offer and taking clients to the terrific city centre eateries.
