a SPONSORED walk is to be held in Rotherham tomorrow in memory of a teenager who died in his sleep.
Daniel Antcliffe, of Whiston, was just 16 when he died in January 2009.
His mum Tracey has raised thousands of pounds in his memory and on Saturday will be taking part in the third sponsored walk she has organised. Participants will start at Stringers Croft, Whiston, and walk a five-mile route carrying collection buckets.
The fundraising will carry on at The Prince of Wales pub, Masbrough, afterwards, where there will be a raffle.
More than 40 prizes have been donated so far, including supermarket vouchers, food and beauty treatments.
Moneys raised in memory of Daniel go towards buying defibrillators for schools.
So far four have been purchased.
