PREVIEW: Showcomotion, Showroom Cinema
TOP BBC executive Peter Salmon will be the keynote speaker at the Showcomotion Children's Media Conference in July at the Showroom Cinema.
Salmon was recently appointed as the first Director, BBC North and later this year will take up the position based in Salford Quays in
Greater Manchester where he will be directly responsible for BBC Children's.
At Showcomotion, he will be talking about his views on the future of children's media and BBC Children's move to Salford under his leadership.
This annual get together is now the most important event of its kind in the kids' media and entertainment calendar in the UK; up to 400
delegates from children's TV, film, radio, gaming and interactive will be converging in Sheffield this summer for sessions, masterclasses and keynotes.
