ONE Direction pop sensation Louis Tomlinson thanked fans after the band won Best Single at the Brit Awards - watch video.
In an exclsuive chat with The Star he also urged fans to stay safe and heed the advice of venues when queuing for tickets for their forthcoming shows.
Bosses at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena issued advice as they prepared for screaming fans heading in their direction for 2013 tour tickets - the first date sold in minutes on Saturday morning at 9am and a second date was added.
South Yorkshire star Louis earlier urged fans: “Whatever you do just be safe and don’t take any risks.
“Your best bet is just trying to call Ticketmaster and try to be one of the first callers.”

The Doncaster pin-up, now hoping to crack America after the band won a top Brit Award this week for Best British Single Debut, What Makes You Beautiful, said of the awards ceremony: “It was a big night.
“I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t even believe we were there never mind nominated and then to be winners. It’s just crazy.”

Arena bosses reminded fans that a ban on overnight queuing applied to all shows and fans can now only queue for tickets on the day they go on sale.
Arena Marketing Manager Simon Bailey said tickets go on sale at the same time in person, online and through the ticket hotline, on 0114 256 5656.
The promoters on this show insisted on a maximum of six tickets per person and under-14s to be accompanied by an adult.
General tricket buying advice from the Arena for all shows includes:
* Be a member of the band’s fan club, as they can sometimes offer tickets.
* Join the venue’s mailing list for any priority on sale details.
* Always buy from the venue or approved ticket agents.
* Visit the Booking Information Section on the Arena web site www.motorpointarenasheffield.co.uk for helpful tips to make the ticket purchasing process as smooth as possible
