Panto stars prepare for Snow White at Lyceum - VIDEO

SHEFFIELD'S panto stars are getting ready to hit the stage - oh yes they are!

Famous names including Eighties pop star Toyah Wilcox are busy preparing for their roles in the Lyceum Theatre's production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which starts on Friday, December 11.

And they have plenty of lines to learn, as this year's performance features comedy, singing, dancing and audience participation, as well as lavish sets and costumes.

Toyah is taking top billing as the evil Wicked Queen, comedian Damian Williams is playing Nurse Nellie following his role as Widow Twankey in Aladdin last year, and BBC Radio Sheffield host Toby Foster is making his panto debut as Muddles the Court Jester.

There will also be an extra treat, as local funnyman Bobby Knutt makes a virtual appearance as the Man In The Mirror.

Tickets for the show, which runs until January 10, are on sale now priced 12 to 20.
