A former Sheffield works building will have a new lease of life as warehouse-style apartments. Centenary Works was formerly the headquarters of William Ward & Son (Sheffield) Ltd, an engineering company founded in 1835 with humble beginnings manufacturing agricultural tools and farming implements.

Today, Centenary Works on Woodseats Road offers warehouse-style living, absorbing the rich heritage of one of Sheffield’s oldest and most respected trades.

Comprising 14 one and two-bedroom apartments with a range of sizes and layouts available, all have been carefully designed with a quality specification chosen both to suit the modern spaces and to complement the existing warehouse features.

A spokesperson for Spencers Estate Agents said: “As with Centenary Works, Sheffield itself is also moving on, whilst still paying homage to its proud heritage. Exciting residential developments and established business districts are close by, along with transport links to access the historical city streets and beyond.

“You will then truly appreciate how close you are to two very different worlds – the vibrant city centre and the fabulous Peak District.

“The area also offers a wide range of local shops and amenities, all within walking distance.”

Specifications include a quality range of units and worktops with integrated oven, hob, extractor, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, modern white ceramic bathroom fittings, LED strip lighting to kitchen and living areas and separate 5 amp mood lighting in living areas. A limited number of parking spaces are available and there is a central landscaped courtyard area.

Prices start from £105,000. Call Spencers Agents on 0114 268 3682 for further details.

An open weekend on September 15 and 16 takes place from 11am to 2pm.
