THE founder member of a rock giant could be on his way to Sheffield.

Roger Daltrey is possibly calling in at The Greystones when Simon Townshend and his band play the venue on Sunday, February 19.

The founder member of The Who, pictured right, has said he will be joining Simon - younger brother of The Who star Pete Townshend – on two of his tour dates, although no venues have been confirmed.

Alex Buchannan, for Thornbridge Brewery which runs The Greystones, Greystones Road, said: “Roger has said he will join two of Simon ’s gigs and we’ve no idea which two he might turn up to, although I’m sure one of the gigs will be in High Wycombe, near where he lives.

“It would be fantastic if he did come to the Greystones.”
