IT was a Wiz for students of High Storrs School last night.
About 70 pupils formed the cast and band for their version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which was staged at the City Hall as part of the Children's Festival.
It was the first time the school had used the City Hall, switching from the Crucible Theatre, which is closed for refurbishment.
The cast includes Emma Kelly as Dorothy, Chaila Chisabingo as the Scarecrow, Sam Whitfield as the Tin Man, Jack Mosedale as the Lion, Lauren Wright at Addapearle and Vicky Sharples as Evellene. Producer is Claire Pender, choreographer, Moyra Lee, musical director, Jonathan Curley and Rachel Booyens is responsible for the set and costumes.
