2012 signals the dawn of a new era at Sheffield’s Lantern Theatre as the venue enters into its first professional season.

The theatre was built 118 years ago as a private family theatre, before becoming an amateur dramatics venue in later life.

It will now stand alongside the other famous theatres of Sheffield as a professional venue, with a mixed bag of entertainment already on its books.
